Less stress for your cat
Being fed in an unfamiliar confined space can be very stressful for your pet (http://vein.library.usyd.edu.au/links/Essays/2000wearne.html). By staying at home, your cat is going to be more comfortable. You also know they will be being getting their usual food.
Less need to worry about disease
When cats are held in close proximity, there is greater chance of spread of disease. This can be mitigated by vacinations, but this depends on the cattery enforcing proper vaccination procedures.
Convenience for you
Instead of having to bring your cat to the cattery and then having to collect them again at the end of the holiday, the whole time you are away, your cat stays at home. Our cat sitter will visit your home in Putney, Southfields or Wimbledon or areas bordering these areas. We will collect your keys and drop them back to you, so you don't have to worry about finding the time to do this.
Potentially better value
While catteries charge separately for each cat, we charge £15 per visit, regardless of how many cats you have. If you have 2 or 3 cats this could lead to a real saving.
Regular check-ups on your house
Hiring a cat sitter has secondary benefits: if there are problems we can let you know as soon as possible; we can move post etc away from view so would-be burglars have less clues you are away.
